We used three different type of material to study the ice accumulation on the test specimen.

Fog could be seen outside the test section when the IWT was running. At the same time, the team could felt the temperature drop around the test section’s surrounding.

After running the IWT for about 45 minutes, the temperature inside of IWT was determined to be -12F and the wind speed was around 50 mph. The team could see ice accumulation on three different materials.
